Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24 September 2026
TelPager turns your messages into reminders and delivers them in Telegram. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it and the choices you have. It applies to telpager.com and the TelPager Telegram bot.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, verified email address and chosen timezone when you create an account.
- Reminder content: the text or voice message you send, the schedule you confirm, and its status (upcoming, snoozed, completed).
- Telegram data: your Telegram chat ID and the messages or voice notes you send to the TelPager bot, used only to create and deliver reminders.
- Calendar data (if you connect Google Calendar): the list of calendars you choose, busy/free availability for overlap warnings, and the events TelPager creates for your reminders.
- Service records: delivery history, access grants, company licences and team membership needed to run the service.
How we use your data
- To create, schedule and deliver your reminders in Telegram at the times you confirm.
- To interpret natural-language and voice messages into structured reminders. This interpretation is done by an automated service that only processes the message you send and the time, timezone and language it was received in.
- To show availability warnings when a new reminder overlaps something already on your connected calendar. TelPager reads busy/free status only — it does not read your event titles or details.
- To administer team features: assignments, seat claims, licences and access control.
- We do not sell your data and we do not use your reminders for advertising.
Voice notes and temporary data
- Voice messages sent to the bot are stored temporarily, used to create your reminder draft, and deleted automatically after processing. They are never shared with other users.
- Delivery queues and drafts are cleaned up automatically once processed or expired.
Who we share data with
- Telegram: to deliver your reminders, we send the reminder text to your linked chat through the official Telegram bot API.
- Google: if you connect Google Calendar, we use Google's APIs with your consent to create and update events in the calendar you selected.
- Service providers: the service runs on managed cloud hosting and databases that store your data on TelPager's behalf under contract.
- We share data only when required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of the service and its users.
Data security
- Access to your data is restricted to your own account; team data is visible only to your team's members according to their role.
- Connection credentials for Telegram and Google Calendar are stored encrypted and are only used by the service's own servers.
- Administrative actions on accounts, grants and licences are recorded in an audit log.
Data retention and deletion
- Your reminders and settings are kept while your account is active.
- Disconnecting Telegram or Google Calendar stops new deliveries and new calendar entries; events already created in your calendar remain there until you remove them.
- You can delete individual reminders at any time. Deleting your account removes your reminders and personal data; records required for billing, licensing and legal compliance may be retained in minimal form.
Your choices
- Connect or disconnect Telegram and Google Calendar whenever you like from the app's settings.
- Turn heads-up (advance) notifications on or off, and set quiet hours, in your notification settings.
- Decline a team assignment — a declined assignment does not notify you or activate the reminder.
Children
- TelPager is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
- If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app or by email before they take effect.
